Gilgit (C.R. AKbar Shah): A vehicle carrying local tourists from Swat met a road accident at Babusar on Thursday. According to Rescue 1122, three people were killed whereas 12 got severe injuries in the accident.
The dead bodies and injured passengers have been shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Chilas.
Notably, traffic accidents happen on Babusar top and Karakoram Highway due to bad weather and reckless driving.
Authorities have issued alerts about safe driving and avoidance of travel in bad weather. But, such alerts are seldom followed by travelers.
