Sindh Judicial Reforms Commission intends to benefit from the software system of Chief Court G-B, says registrar G-B Chief Court

Gilgit (Court Reporter): The registrar Chief Court Gilgit-Baltistan has said that the G-B Chief Court has more advanced expertise in the field of technology than other provinces of the country in providing speedy justice.

He was addressing the closing ceremony of a training about use of newly software system in issuance of summons and notices of chief court G-B ON saturday.

While addressing the ceremony, the registrar chief court G-B Ghulam Abbas Chopa said the Sindh Judicial Reforms Commission, while appreciating the technology system of the Chief Court, has asked for help in writing to utilize it in the judicial system, which is an honor for the Chief Court. All the judges and employees of the Chief Court have a key and equal role in this success.

The registrar of G-B Chief Court said that the court has introduced a modern software system to provide timely justice to the people as per the vision of Justice Ali Baigh.

He said that the Chief Court is fully committed to meet the challenges with use of modern technology and the newly introduced software is an example of in this regard. With introduction of the new software system, chief court G-B has now become a role model for Pakistan and the world.

He lauded the efforts of Assistant Director IT Shamal Ahmed and his team for accomplishing the given task in a short period of time by working day and night.

He said the primary aim of technology-mediated issuance of summons and notices is to ensure efficient service delivery and justice to lawyers advocates, plaintiffs, and litigants. With the introduction of this new software system, the major obstacle to the delivery of justice has been removed. Before there were delayed court judgments on cases due to issues in the dispatch and receipt of court summons and notices.

 He further said that the new software system will play the role of informing the lawyers and their parties will cases in a timely manner with the introduction of this system. The unnecessary excuse of not getting information regarding the case and appearance will end and the cases will not be delayed.

He further said that the Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court has more advanced expertise in the field of technology than other provinces of the country in providing speedy justice. In this regard, the Sindh Judicial Reforms Commission, while appreciating the technology system of the Chief Court, has asked for help in writing to utilize it in the judicial system, which is an honor for the Chief Court. All the judges and employees of the Chief Court have a key and equal role in this success, added Chopa.

He further said that the new software system in Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court addresses the requirements of lawyers in this technological era. We are introducing day by day paperless system in chief court G-B and its sub-ordinate courts to provide access to information regarding pending cases at their doorstep.

 Lawyers, lawyers and parties to cases do not have to spend huge expenses and go around offices for getting information. There will be immediate notification regarding pending cases. The court also takes austerity measures to eliminate un-necessary excuses in timely attendance of parties.

In the end of the ceremony, Registrar Ghulam Abbas Chopa and Additional Registrar Nisar Hasan distributed certificates to the officers and employees who completed the training.
