Islamabad (Staff Reporter): Federal Advisor for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Qamar Zaman Kaira administered the oath to the newly elected cabinet members of Gilgit-Baltistan Journalistic Forum in Islamabad on Thursday.
Those taking the oath included Ghulamuddin (President), Mohammad Abbas Shigri (General Secretary), Ijaz Hussain (Finance Secretary), Abdul Bari (Senior Vice President), Irfan Mehdi (Vice President), Shafqat Hussain (Senior Joint Secretary), Ashfaq Ahmed (Joint Secretary), Roshan Daya Marri (Secretary Social Welfare).
While addressing the ceremony, Qamar Zaman Kaira said the Ministry of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs will provide all possible support to journalists of different regions in the federal capital.
He congratulated the elected officials of G-B Journalistic Forum and expressed his expectation that they will discharge their responsibilities with honesty.
The newly elected President briefed the Federal Advisor regarding the aims and objectives of establishing the forum.
The new cabinet will strive for the welfare of the members and highlighting the problems of the region as per the constitution of the forum.
