Gilgit (PR): Anjuman e Imamia Gilgit has invited people from Ahl-e-Sunnat and Ismaili school of thoughts to participate in mourning gathering in Muharram ul Haram.
While talking to a delegation of officials of Awami Action Committee G-B at his office, the president Anjuman e Imamia Gilgit Sajid Baig invited people from sister communities to participate in -Mourning gatherings during Muharram ul Haram.
He said that the Anjuman Imamia has been striving for creating inter-faith harmony in G-B. In Our participation in the gatherings and other spiritual programs of Ahle-Sunnat is a testimony of what we claim, said Sajid Baigh.
He expressed the hope that Ahl-e-Sunnah and Ismaili Akbari will also participate in mourning gatherings during Muharram ul Haram.
On this occasion, the leaders of the Public Action Committee assured Anjuman e Imamia President Sajid Baig that he would play a his role during the mourning processions and provide all possible support.
