Skardu (PR): Chaired by Commissioner Baltistan Shuja Alam, a meeting was held on Thursday in connection with the delimitation of local bodies constituencies in Baltistan region.
The ongoing demarcation and delimitation process ahead of the announced local bodies polls in G-B was reviewed in the session.
Those attending the meeting included the Director Local Government and Rural Development Ghulam Rasool, Additional Commissioner Baltistan Division Abbas Ali, Deputy and assistant Commissioners of four districts of Baltistan Division, and Deputy Director Local Government Skardu.
During the meeting, Commissioner Baltistan Division Shuja Alam directed the concerned authorities to expedite the completion of information and data related to constituencies in view of the proposed local body elections.
