Gilgit (Staff reporter): Opposition members in the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly lashed out at the Chief Minister for his absence from Gilgit-Baltistan.
While addressing G-B assembly session on Tuesday, the leader of the opposition Amjad Hussain Advocate severely criticized the speaker and chief minister Khalid Khurshid for not calling assembly session for half of the year.
Addressing the Speaker of the Assembly, Amjad advocate asked if he and CM thin they have any respect. You both have disrespected this House by not calling its session for months, he further added.
He further said governance does not follow anyone’s will and arbitrariness. If repeatedly asked if speaker and CM had any feelings of embarrassment for locking the assembly and staying in Islamabad on public money.
Addressing Khalid Khurshid, Amjad Advocate said that you are holding meetings in the darkness of the night and hoodwinking your ministers here.
