ISLAMABAD (PR): A delegation of faculty from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) called upon the Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani in Islamabad on Sunday.
During the meeting. the delegation provided the Chief Secretary G-B about the progress of Blockchain, AI and Data Science courses that are currently being offered to students in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The delegation shared a report about the entrance tests, enrolment statistics, and learning initiatives. Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan expressed contentment with the progress shown in the report.
The Chief Secretary urged the NUST faculty to foster links between students and the industry, as well as to acquaint them with global freelance platforms.
During the meeting, ideas were discussed about the next phase of the courses and strategies for their further expansion.
Chief Secretary of Gilgit-Baltistan students of computer science at Karakoram International University (KIU) and the University of Baltistan will be given break during their 7th semester to participate in blockchain and data science courses.
