Islamabad (Ibex report): The federal government is equipping 130 public sector schools in Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) across grades into smart schools.
As part of the project, government will also select teachers from different districts and train them as tech fellow to facilitate teaching-learning in the schools.
As per our information, the installation process of the ICT infrastructure in schools will be complete in in the month of March this year. The new academic session will in smart schools will commence from April 2023.
It is hoped the tech fellows will provide smart training in April 2023 and facilitate the complete transformation of selected schools into smart schools.
The schools selected for smart school program will the ones providing co-education in Gilgit-Baltistan.
