Banach NAWA Scholarship 2025 in Poland: The Programme aims to support the socio-economic development of developing nations by enhancing their citizens’ knowledge and education. This is achieved through scholarships for second -degree studies, conducted either in Polish or English, at universities in Poland that operate under the oversight of the minister of science and higher education.
The program is a collaborative effort between the ministry of foreign affairs and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, Functioning as part of Poland’s international development assistance.

Eligible Countries
Citizens of the following countries can apply for the Banach NAWA Scholarship 2025-2026:
Albania, Angola, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Lebanon, Mexico, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Nigeria, North Macedonia, Palestine, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, Serbia, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, or Vietnam.
Eligible Requirements for Banach NAWA Scholarship 2025-2026
To qualify for Banach NAWA Scholarship 2025-2026, Applying candidates should fulfill all the following requirements.
1- Must be a citizen of the following Eligible countries mentioned above.
2- Applicants from Mainland Poland are not eligible for this Scholarship
3- Must not have applied for Polish Citizenship
4-Must be willing to get admission in a Masters degree course or preparatory course
5- Staring the course in Winter Semester 2025/21 (October 2025)
6- Applicant must be in their final semester of first cycle in an eligible country or have earned a bachelor’s degree from an eligible country no earlier than 2023.
7- Should have earned a masters degree
8- Applicant should be a previous receiver of NAWA scholarship under Banach program.
9- Applicants must have proof of English proficiency certificate or Polish language certificate. Any one language proof will be enough to apply for this scholarship.
Required Application Documents
List given in this section are the required documents for the Banach NAWA Scholarship 2025-2026
1- Scanned copy of your bachelor’s diploma from an eligible program country Official transcript showing: Cumulative GPA for your entire undergraduate program and Grades for all completed courses
2- A scanned copy of the passport page displaying the applicant’s personal details
Note: If your diploma doesn’t include GPA, NAWA will calculate it based on available grade information.
- For current final-semester students:
- Scanned university-issued certificate containing:
a) Full name
b) Issuing university name
c) Bachelor’s program name
d) Actual or expected completion date
e) Cumulative GPA and list of all completed courses with grades
f) Official university stamp
A sample certificate template is provided in the Program Announcement.
3- Submit one of these documents showing your application status for full-time master’s programs beginning October 2025 at a Polish university under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (with NAWA agreement):
- Official admission letter (conditional or unconditional)
- University acceptance promise or preliminary offer
- Confirmation of recruitment participation (e.g., application receipt, payment confirmation)
- Evidence of communication with your chosen university regarding specific program admission (must include university response)
Exception: This requirement doesn’t apply to applicants choosing the Polish-language preparatory course path.
4- Submit proof of Polish language competency at required level (A2 for preparatory course/B2 for direct entry):
- Language certificate
- Diploma from Polish-medium education
- Polish course completion certificate
- For English-taught programs:
Submit one of: - Valid B2-level English certificate (see Announcement Appendix 3)
- Diploma from English-medium undergraduate studies
- English proficiency confirmation from Polish university
Exemption: Applicants from English-speaking program countries need not submit English proof.
5) Video Self-Presentation
- 1-3 minute video in Polish or English covering:
- Your chosen field of study
- Motivations for studying in Poland
- Technical requirements:
- No third-party appearances
- Clear audio/video quality

Application Deadline:
The application period will close on June 27, 2025 at 3:00 PM (Warsaw time) or earlier if any country group receives 300 applications.
- For each country group:
- Maximum of 300 applications accepted
- Submission closes automatically when this limit is reached
- Final deadline for all groups: June 27, 2025 at 3:00 PM Warsaw time
