Gilgit (PR): Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani and Chief Election Commissioner G-B Raja Shahbaz Khan inaugurated the newly constructed office of Election Commission G-B.
Secretary Interior, Secretary Finance, Secretary Law, Secretary GB Assembly, Secretary Works, IGP G-B, Provincial Election Commissioner Abdul Raza, Deputy Commissioner Gilgit, and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
Chief Election Commissioner Gilgit-Baltistan Raja Shahbaz Khan welcomed and thanked chief secretary G-B and other officials for gracing the occasion with their presence.
He also thanked CS G-B, officials of works and construction for their efforts to complete the building of the new office of the election commission which is an asset for the people of G-B.
Speaking on the occasion, chief secretary G-B said the new office will help complete the electoral roll in connection with local bodies’ election.
Chief Election Commissioner Gilgit-Baltistan and Chief Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan also gave traditional caps and other gifts, certificates, and souvenirs to officers for showing outstanding professional performance.
