Gilgit ( Abbas Ali): Sadia Danish, the Deputy Speaker of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly, paid a visit to the Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services (PIPS) Islamabad on Thursday.
During this visit, Muhammad Anwar, the Executive Director of PIPS, provided a briefing to the Deputy Speaker regarding the institution’s aims, objectives, and performance.
While speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Speaker emphasized the importance of providing training for parliamentarians and the parliamentary staff of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly. This training, she highlighted, is crucial for enhancing their capacity in the realm of legislation.
Sadia Danish expressed her optimism that PIPS would continue its efforts to achieve its goals in the future too.
While briefing the Deputy Speaker of Gilgit-Baltistan, the Executive Director of PIPS mentioned that they are currently conducting training sessions focused on legislative and parliamentary research along with the capacity building of parliamentary support staff.
