Gilgit (PR): An autism awareness seminar was organized at headquarters Force Command Northern Areas (FCNA) Gilgit on Saturday.
Country’s renown autism experts Mrs. Major Retired Kaiser Principal ARC Westridge, Mrs. Faiza Inam CEO STCICLD Islamabad, Mrs. Shamaila Kamal CEO TSTC Lahore and others talked about autism in children and ways to deal with it.
The resource persons provided important information stereotypes attached with the autism. They talked about the effective ways and provided guidance about the treatment in connection with autism.
The teachers of government and semi-government schools of Gilgit city along with military and civil personnel participated in the seminar. Similarly, schools from different districts of Gilgit-Baltistan also participated in the seminar through online.
In his closing remarks, the commander FCNA announced to open the first autism center of G-B in Gilgit city which would be managed by Pakistan Army.
