Gilgit (Crime reporter): Gilgit police claimed to have arrested a wanted accused from Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Wednesday after one year of a case registered against him at Jutial police station.
The accused Asadullah, son of Ahmed Alullah Sakna Eidi Mohalla, Yadgar Chowk, Gilgit was wanted in case No. 211/2022 under sections 365A, 420, 468, 471, 496, 494/109 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
According to the police, the wanted accused had gone into hiding by avoiding arrest. He was arrested due to the hard work, bravery, and use of technology by the investigation officer and his team.
Sharing the details about the arrest, police said the accused has been transferred to Jutial police station after his arrest in AJK where further investigation is underway.
Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gilgit has praised the excellent performance shown by he police team in the arrest of the wanted accused.
