Gilgit: In a brief but important meeting with CEO Medio Tech Arshad Hussain, Chief Secretary G-B Mohyuddin Wani assured his support in establishing an IT Laboratory in the Diamir district of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Arshad Hussain briefed the Chief Secretary about ‘the Digital Diamer’, the first-ever IT project in Diamer initiated by Medio Tech in collaboration with GBRSP to promote IT literacy in the district.
In his briefing, Arshad Hussain said the G-B Rural Support Program (GBRSP) played a constructive role in materializing the idea of digitization of Diamir into a reality. Similarly, district administration Diamir also played a constructive role in practically making Diamir Pilot project useful.
Hussain invited the chief secretary G-B to visit the first-ever freelancing conference to be held in Chilas aimed at introducing the ‘art of freelancing’ in Diamir.
Chief Secretary G-B appreciated Medio Tech for its efforts to enhance digital literacy in the district. He expressed his delight to hear about the wonderful work carried out by Medio Tech.
Arshad Hussain was accompanied by his team member Zia ur Rahman in this meeting with the chief secretary G-B.
