Gilgit (Abbas Ali): Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B), Haji Gulbar Khan, along with the Speaker G-B Assembly, Nazir Ahmed Advocate, and the Deputy Speaker, Sadia Danish, inaugurated a newly established conference room for the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus at the G-B Legislative Assembly today.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by members of the G-B Assembly, including the President of the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus, Kulsoom Farman, and other Caucus members.
The conference room is designed to offer a supportive environment for women parliamentarians to discuss, debate, and deliberate on critical issues, thereby enhancing their role in the legislative process.
This initiative demonstrates the Government’s commitment to gender equality, women’s empowerment, and strengthening democratic institutions in Gilgit-Baltistan.
