CEO NDRMF, Secretary Health Services G-B Sanaullah and Chief Economist Planning and Development shake hands after signing agreement in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (PR): The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) will give Rs 920 million to meet health emergencies in Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B).

Chief Executive Officer NDRMF Bilal Anwar and Secretary Health Services G-B Sanaullah and Chief Economist Planning and Development G-B Javed signed the Grant Implementation Agreement on Monday in the capital city Islamabad.

This project is designed to support health facilities in 18 public sector hospitals across G-B by providing the clinical management equipment to require countering health emergencies in G-B. These facilities can be helpful in meeting the health needs of millions of people.

It is pertinent to note that the G-B government led by PML-N’s response mechanism was based on the same project of NDRMF. This helped improve the health sector and deal with emergencies including the provision of financial support to the people.
