Gilgit (PR): Secretary Home Gilgit-Baltistan Sibatin Ahmed visited Gilgit-Baltistan Disaster Management Authority’s (GBDMA) warehouse.
He was given a detailed briefing about the relief operation in the affected districts due to the recent rains and floods in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Relief supplies were dispatched to the flood affected areas of Diamir district on the occasion under the supervision of secretary Home G-B.
Sibtain Ahmad directed DG GBDMA Kamaluddin Qamar to ensure timely supply of relief goods to the flood-affected areas of Gilgit-Baltistan.
He said the Gilgit-Baltistan Government is taking all possible steps to provide relief to flood-affected areas for which the headquarters of disaster management has also established a control room in Gilgit.
