Gilgit (C.R Akbar Shah): Administrative approval has been received for four projects across Gilgit-Baltistan including the establishment of the Lalik Jan Public School Ghakuch. It has been decided to start work on these projects soon after the completion of the bidding process.
The approved projects include the establishment of Lalik Jan Public School in Ghakuch and the Mashabroom Public School in Ghanche and a degree college in Astor.
Work has started on the construction of the Poly-Technical School Phase-II which would cost Rs, 2 billion rupees.
It has been decided to start work on all approved projects soon after completion of bidding process. Worl has also started on construction of the Poly Technical Institute Skardu Phase-II which is worth , the cost of which is Rs. 2 billion.
It is pertinent to note that the government of Gilgit-Baltistan is taking revolutionary steps in the field of education. The Chief Secretary of Gilgit-Baltistan is paying special attention to the education sector.
