Lahore (PR): Headed by the chief minister of Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B), the cabinet and G-B Assembly members of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) met party chairman Imran on Sunday.
The meeting discussed in detail the welfare initiatives that the PTI government has taken in G-B, organizational matters, and the country’s overall political situation.
During the meeting, Imran Khan said the role of G-B people in the struggle for constitutional supremacy and the rule of law is commendable. The people of Gilgit-Baltistan fully support the real freedom movement initiated by PTI, further said, Imran Khan.
He said development and finding solutions to the long-standing problems of Gilgit-Baltistan are among the top priorities of PTI. Gilgit-Baltistan can become the hub of tourism for which the PTI government had taken important steps when it was in power at the center.
Imran expressed his hope to come to power again and restart the journey of making Naya Gilgit-Baltistan and Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid said the people of Gilgit-Baltistan support Imran Khan’s vision of true freedom. People of the G-B government, elected representatives, and people at the grassroots level are standing with the rule of law under the leadership of Chairman Imran Khan, further added Khalid Khurshid.
Those meeting Khan in the Sunday meeting reiterated their determination to stay united in support of the freedom movement led by Imran Khan.
