Gilgit (Ibex report): According to details received by Ibex Times, the central government has rejected the proposal of ten thousand job vacancies under PC4 for Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to reliable sources, the government of Gilgit-Baltistan had requested the federal government to approve 10,000 newly created positions under PC4, which the latter has rejected saying aggravating the economic conditions of the country.
The central government has asked the Gilgit-Baltistan government to first work on a previously approved position. Approval of the newly proposed positions will only be considered only after the already approved vacancies are filled.
The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan has also requested the central government to approve four thousand posts in the education department whose approval will only be considered after the economic crisis is over.
It should be noted that there is a severe economic crisis in Gilgit-Baltistan like the rest of the country and the allowances of the employees have also been abolished.
