Gilgit (Bureau chief): Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid met a delegation of the newly elected cabinet of the High Court Bar Association and the District Bar Association on Thursday.
Chief Minister Khalid Khursheed congratulated the newly elected officials of both the lawyers bodies and expressed his best wishes for their success and assured his full cooperation.
While talking to the delegation, Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid said G-B government is trying to find sustainable solutions to the problems in Gilgit-Baltistan despite severe financial crises.
He said historic steps were taken to solve the long-standing problems of Gilgit-Baltistan and provide health, education and other basic facilities to the people in the last two and a half years.
Chief Minister said Imran Khan paid special attention to the construction and development of Gilgit-Baltistan and the solution of long-standing problems during PTI reign at the center.
On this occasion, the delegation of bar associations appreciated the important role of the Chief Minister in the country’s politics and his efforts to solve the long-standing problems of GB and develop the region despite the difficult situation.
The delegation also invited the Chief Minister to visit the bar.
