Gilgit (PR): In a press release shared with Ibext Times, Awami Workers Party leader and former candidate for GBLA Yasin/Sumal Sher Nadir Shahi has stated the deletion of repair of Gupis-Yasin main road as part of the Annual Development Plan (ADP) 2022-23 is an injustice to people of Yasin.
He said the GB government should ensure the provision of the due share of development funds in all areas rather than subjecting people to its revenge-driven politics.
He said deletion of Rs. 500 million from ADP 2022-23 allocated for the repair of the Gupis-Yasin road is a slap on the face of the representative from Yasin. The elected public representative should resign if he cannot safeguard the interests of the people of his constituency.
He further said the deletion of projects from Yasin’s ADP will be the last nail in the coffin of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI)’s politics in Yasin.
He has demanded the government to include all deleted projects in Yasin/Sumal in 2022-23 ADP, else, protests will be called against the GB government in collaboration with all political parties of Yasin.
