Gilgit (Correspondent): Car accident on Saturday evening on Karakoram Highway leaves four dead and one seriously injured.
According to the details, a passenger car (LED 6553) carrying 5 people from Skardu to Rawalpindi fell into a deep ravine while crossing a dangerous curve on Karakoram Highway in Kohistan.
The accident has left 4 dead and one injured. Two people were killed on the spot and three were injured. Kohistan Police, Rescue 1122, and local volunteers rescued the injured and dead bodies and shifted them to Al-Shifa Hospital Dubir.
The injured were given first aid and sent to Ayub Medical Complex, Abbottabad. However, two more injured succumbed to injuries on the way. The deceased included three men and one woman.
