Gilgit (Court Reporter): Leaders of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) and legal fraternity of Azad Kashmir visited Gilgit-Baltistan (G-B) High Court on Saturday.
The visiting delegation met with the president of the High Court Bar G-B Nasim Akhtar Mian. Various matters of importance related to the two parts (G-B and AJK) of the state of Kashmir came under discussion.
In the meeting, relations between Jammu and Gilgit-Baltistan and problems faced by lawyers were discussed and suggestions were made for possible solutions.
According to the sources of Voice of Law G-B, the 15-member visiting delegation was led by Azad Jammu and Kashmir lawyers and Liberation Front leader Raja Danish Advocate and Saad Ansari Advocate. The president of Student Liberation Front G-B resident Waqas Minhas Umar also accompanied the delegation.
The delegation invited President High Court Bar to join the unity rally in Gilgit-Baltistan on June 21. However, the president High Court Bar has declined to participate in the rally for unknown reasons.
It is pertinent to note that JKLF is organizing a unity rally on May 21 Sunday in Gilgit City. Starting from the tomb of the well-known political leader Mr. Johar Ali Khan Advocate late the rally will end at the tomb of the founder of JKLF late Amanullahat Eidgah Graveyard.
