Gilgit (PR): Taking notice of complaints received from women, the Deputy Commissioner Gilgit Captain (Rtd) Usama Majeed Cheema has banned the seating of two women in front of Suzuki vehicle in Gilgit city.
The deputy commissioner has issued strict instructions to the Excise and Taxation Officer Gilgit and the Traffic Police to implement the orders.
Moreover, the deputy commissioner Gilgit issued instructions to the traffic and excise police and Sector Magistrates to take strict legal action against such Suzuki drivers who violate these orders and submit a detailed report about it.
The DC Gilgit asked the concerned authorities to ensure implementation on these orders so that women do not face any problem while commuting.
