Gilgit (Court Reporter): While talking to the media, Secretary General Gilgit Bar Association advocate Arif Nazir expressed his commitment to work for the protection and promotion of the collective interest of lawyers’ community.
He said that the Gilgit-Baltistan government under the leadership of the Chief Minister is paying special attention to addressing lawyers’ problems. He called the approach of the current G-B government a must-follow thing for future governments.
Responding to a question, he said the newly elected bar cabinet wants to develop a strong working relationship with the G-B government. G-B government and lawyers are committed to a positive long-term strategy, further added advocate Arif Nazir.
He called the services provided by the Chief Minister for lawyers in the last week exemplary.
In his speech, Secretary General High Court Bar Association G-B thanked the Chief Justice of Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Justice Mr. Justice Ali Baig, the judges for their participation in the oathtaking ceremony and gracing the occasion with their presence.
In response to a question, he said that the Chief Justice of the Gilgit-Baltistan Judiciary is a spirited person, and we are proud of his fairness.
He said Justice Ali Baig is a person of compassion, friendliness, and honesty. Allah Almighty has blessed the honorable Chief Justice Chief Court G-B with the high responsibilities of Gilgit-Baltistan due to these qualities.
