Swiss Art Scholarships
Swish Confederation announces Art scholarships for art students from a limited number of countries who wish to pursue an initial master’s degree in Arts in Switzerland. The selected students will study at the University of Arts in Switzerland. The selected students will undertake full-time research in Switzerland only.
What is the target group?
The Art scholarships are targeted at
1. highly qualified young artists without Master’s degree.
2. citizens of those countries with which the Swiss confederation has a reciprocity agreement for art scholarships.
Eligibility criteria
The applicant must
1. be born not before December 31, 1988.
2. have Bachelor’s degree or equivalent achieved before July 31, 2024.
3. not be applying for a second master’s degree.
Study period
Starting from September 1, 2024, the study duration will be of 12 months. However, it may be prolonged to period of 21 months subject to the Master program chosen and the necessary ECTS credits.
Scholarship amount
1. A monthly payment of CHF 1920 will made to the students.
2. The mention scholarship amount (CHF 1920) is inclusive of living cost of one person only.

1. must have an artistic profile, qualification and motivation.
2. must have submitted a portfolio reflecting artistic maturity and potential
3. be applying for a host institute with available study places.
