Chilas (PR): The Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) government took a major step forward in enhancing healthcare services by providing state-of-the-art urology and neurosurgery equipment to RHQ Hospital Chilas on Sunday.
The advanced medical equipment has been carefully selected to ensure the treatment related to bladder stones, bladder cancer, prostate surgery, and urethral surgery, etc.
A notable feature of these devices is the ability to perform advanced procedures on patients with stenosis using a minimally invasive approach. Using the new technology, surgery can be performed without traditional incisions resulting in faster recovery time and faster improvement in patient health. In the coming weeks, the hospital will also be equipped with advanced equipment for kidney stone operations.
This state-of-the-art medical equipment have been selected based on the special recommendations of renowned consultants of Shifa International Hospital ensuring that RHQ Hospital Chilas is equipped with the latest developments in the field of urology and neurosurgery.
