Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Haji Gulbar Khan message on start of Muharram-ul-Haram

Gilgit (PR) In his message issued to media, the chief minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Haji Gulbar Khan has said Muharram ul Haram teaches us sacrifice, steadfastness, human values ​​, and people’s rights.

CM G-B has further stated that the martyrdom of Imam Hussain was meant for the survival of Islam and humanity. Standing firm in the face of oppression, saying the right word in front of the tyrant and the oppressor is the true meaning sanctity.

In his message, he has further said that Muharram ul Haram is the month of worship, sacrifice, patience and tolerance. We all need to demonstrate unity in playing our part to maintain peace and tranquility in this holy month. Thus there is a dire need to promote brotherhood, unity, human welfare, and tolerance in the light of the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH).

He has urged people belonging to different schools of thought in Gilgit-Baltistan to play their role in maintaining ideal peace during Muharram ul Haram so that Gilgit-Baltistan becomes an example for other areas in terms of peace and order.

According to CM G-B, the best way to pay homage to the martyrs of Karbala is to put aside personal interests and regional differences and play a role in peace and brotherhood, mutual tolerance, communal harmony, and national unity.
