Gilgit (Court Reporter): The lawyers fraternity of Gilgit-Baltistan observed a partial boycott of court proceedings on the call of the G-B Bar Council on Wednesday over the government’s failure in the provision of financial grants.

The judgment about the GBLA-2 election petition Jameel Ahmed versus Fateh Ullah Khan case could not be pronounced as the court adjourned the case due to lawyers’ protest.

According to the details, arguments have been completed by all the parties in the case of Jameel Ahmed vs. Fathullah Khan in the Gilgit Election Tribunal.

The court was to pronounce its decision after hearing the arguments from the counsel of former Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman on July 12.

The hearing and the decision on the case will be pronounced after the end of the court holidays.
