G-B Rural Support Program’s budget and work plan approved

Chairman Gilgit-Baltistan Rural Support Program Sher Jahan Mir is presiding GBRSP's annual budget meeting

Gilgit (PR): The budget and work plan of the Gilgit-Baltistan Rural Support Program (GBRSP) for the next financial year has been approved in the annual budget meeting of its board of directors on Sunday.

The meeting was presided over by the Chairman GBRSP Sher Jahan Mir.

General Manager Ashfaq Ahmed presented the annual budget of 2023-24 to the participants and highlighted in detail the steps to be taken for the whole year.

The budget and proposed workplan was formally approved unanimously. The board members shared their suggestions and opinions for the betterment of the institution.

 In the meeting, Chairman GBRSP Sher Jahan Mir expressed his satisfaction with the overall performance of the organization.

He urged upon the employees of the organization to work hard as per the requirements of the modern age so that the people of Gilgit-Baltistan develop and prosper.

He said that by improving the work under solid planning and ensuring the participation of the people, achievements can be achieved in a short period of time.

Earlier Chief Executive Officer GBRSP Abdul Latif highlighted the performance of the institution and the measures taken in achieving the set goals.

While addressing on the occasion, the vice chairman GBRSP Haji Mir Afzal Khan urged the officials of the organization to keep Chief Secretary and Chief Minister GB abreast of their performance through direct contact and general masses through effective social media coverage.

 The board members emphasized promoting organization interests rather than individual desires.
