Gilgit (Crime Reporter): With the support of the Gilgit-Baltistan Special Branch, Danyor police arrested two drug dealers in two separate raids.
According to the details, during an operation in the Danyor Amphri area, SHO Danyor and staff arrested Kifayat Ali son of Salamat Khan, and recovered 135 grams of hashish.
In another operation, SHO Danyor and his team recovered 25 bottles of liquor of 400 ml from Manzoor Hussain son of Shukrullah Baig Sukna Jagir Pati Oshkhandas.
Police has started investifation from the two accused according to the cases registered under the Narcotics Act, cases No. 57, 58/2023 of 9B and 3/4.
According to the police, this is the second major action of SHO Dunayur in the same week which has been highly appreciated by the social and public circles of the area. Similarly, SSP Gilgit has also praised the excellent performance of SHO and staff.
It is pertinent to note that the above actions are part of the ongoing campaign against drug dealers under the direction of SSP Gilgit and SDPO Danyor in the light of the orders of the Inspector General of Police Gilgit-Baltistan.
