Gilgit (PR): Commissioner Gilgit Division Kamaluddin Qamar visited the offices of Deputy Commissioner (DC) and Assistant Commissioner (AC) Gilgit on Monday with a purpose to review law and order situation.
On his visit to DC Office Gilgit, he was given a detailed briefing by DC Gilgit Amir Azam Hamza on the overall law and order situation in the region.
The commissioner Gilgit directed the district administration to utilize all available resources to maintain law and order.
He directed the administration to ensure strict checking at entrances and exits of the city, urging vigilant monitoring of the suspicious persons to maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
He also directed police to ensure full proof security by making use of all available resources. Negligence in connection with peace and tranquility will not be tolerated, said the Commissioner Gilgit Division.
Furthermore, he talked to the magistrates, revenue, and other staff. He listened to their problems and assured them of sustainable solutions.
He was also briefed about the ongoing development schemes in Gilgit district. In response, he instructed the relevant authorities to accelerate the progress of these projects while upholding high standards of quality.
