Gilgit (PR): An important meeting of the All-Line Employees Association Gilgit-Baltistan took place at a local hotel in Gilgit city.
The president of the association, Haji Ajjal Hussain, presided over the meeting, which was attended by officials from across the districts of G-B.
During the meeting, the performance of the All-Line Employees Association was reviewed and declared satisfactory.
While speaking on the occasion, Haji Ajlal Hussain said 50,000 employees in GB hav e their hopes attached with the Online Employees Association.
He urged for the immediate approval of time scale promotions based on the same criteria applied to employees in federal and other provincial sectors.
He emphasized the need to end the differential treatment of public sector employees in G-B.
Nasir Hussain, the Senior Vice President, reiterated that time scale promotion is the rightful entitlement of the employees.
Syed Mazahir Hussain, President of the Line Employees Association Baltistan region said a delegation from the association would visit the Department of Finance and Services to assess the progress of time scale promotions.
Haji Sher Afzal, President of the Diamer division, stated that they would continue their struggle until they achieve their goal of securing time scale promotions.
