Gilgit (C.R Akbar Shah): The upgradation of ten thousand and two hundred employees of line department Gilgit-Baltistan is in pending in the Federal Ministry of Finance department for last many years.
The long wait for upgradation has led to frustration, disappointment, and alienation among the employees of the line department.
According to reliable sources, the future of thousands of line department employees is at stake as the Federal Ministry of Finance has been least bothered to act despite the lapse of many years.
While talking to Ibex Times, the line department employees expressed their worries. They said they would again protest in favor of immediate upgradation of their services.
They demanded of the Gilgit-Baltistan government immediately approve the permanent file of these employees from the Federal Ministry of Finance so that the anxiety of employees could end.
