Eligibility Criteria for Turkiye Scholarship Program
The eligibility criteria for the Turkiye scholarships are as follows:
1. Minimum Academic Achievement
As shown in the table given below, the minimum academic achievement required to apply for the Turkiye Scholarship Program varies: 70% for undergraduate candidates, 75% for graduate candidates, and 90% for candidates in Health Sciences such as Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy.

2. Language eligibility
The applicants must be fluent in English or Turkic language in both written and spoken aspects.

As shown in the table, age eligibility for undergraduate programs require applicants to be under 21, master’s programs under 30, PhD programs under 35, and research scholarships under 50.

4. Eligible Countries
Citizens of all countries are eligible to apply for Turkiye Scholarships.
5. Language Proficiency
The applicant should have a TOEFL or IELTS (The Test of English as a Foreign Language) certification. The certification is an international benchmark which shows that you are good enough to take a course at a university, if you want to study in English.
6. Academic credentials
It is recommended that applicants should show an official academic record, showing all certificates, courses, and grades which you may have received in your academic career.,

1. Create Your Personal Online account
- Create you personal account on the Turkiye Scholarships Applications System
- Upload all required documents. It will also be beneficial for you to include your extracurricular activities and achievements in different fields.
- List your dream university and program preferences
- Write an original letter of intent explaining your preferences, expectations and goals for the future.
- After reviewing all the stages and documents, approve your application

2. Fill Online Application with Required Documents
The applicants should fill online application on the official website with the required documents mentioned below:
- A valid National Identification Document or a valid Passport
- A recent Photo of the candidate (Please ensure that the uploaded photo in the Application system is a clear portrait of yourself; photos that are not easily identifiable will negatively impact the evaluation of your application)
- National exam scores (mandatory for candidates lacking any international qualification or certification)
- Diploma or temporary certificate of Graduation Academic transcripts (Screenshots from online sources and uncertified transcripts will negatively affect the evaluation of your application) International exam scores (such as GRE, GMAT, DELF, YDS, YÖS, etc., if required by the chosen university & program) Language test scores (if required by the chosen university & program) A research proposal and a sample of your written work (for Ph.D. applicants only).
