The people of Gilgit-Baltistan stand with Kashmiris in their fight for independence, CM G-B message of solidarity

In a message in connection with Kashmir solidarity day, the Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Khalid Khurshid paid tribute to the unwavering determination and sacrifices of Kashmiris for achieving their right to self-determination.

In his message, Khalid Khursheed has said the people of Pakistan and Gilgit-Baltistan stand with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters and salute them for their freedom struggle. The people of Pakistan stand with the oppressed Kashmiris in the struggle of the oppressed people of Occupied Kashmir to achieve their rightful sovereignty.

In his message, the Chief Minister has said that despite the passage of many decades, the dispute of Jammu and Kashmir could not be resolved. Indian forces are committing worst sort of atrocities including massacre of innocents, pellet firing on children and other acts of torture. Nevertheless, people of Kashmir are continuously trying to achieve the right of self-determination with courage.

The Chief Minister has said that the “Kashmir Solidarity Day” celebrated on February 5 every year strengthens the determination against the illegal occupation of occupied Kashmir. India continuously fails to implement the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council. It is in denial and is reluctant to give basic rights to the people of Kashmir.

He has said lasting peace in South Asia cannot be realized until India stops the use of force and violence in the occupied valley. The freedom of the people of Occupied Kashmir is their basic and democratic right. It is the moral duty of the United Nations to implement its manifesto and give the people of occupied Kashmir the basic right of freedom.

 In his message, Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid has said that will be an advocate of Kashmiri people until they get rid of Indian occupation.
