Sindhu Waas Foundation and Secular Society Pakistan holds meeting concerning youth conference in Karachi

Karachi: An important meeting was held at Arts Council Karachi under the banner of Sindhu Waas Foundation (SWF) and Secular Society of Pakistan in connection with a grand Youth conference to be arranged in the metropolitan in July.

The meeting was attended by delegates from different youth/student organizations, colleges, universities, and civil society.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Sindh United Student Federation (SUSF), Balochistan Student Organization (BSO), Democratic Student Organization (DSF), Progressive Student Collective (PSC), Progressive Youth Alliance (PYA), Communist Party of Pakistan, Progressive Lawyers Szabist, teachers, and students from Federal Urdu University.

Panel discussions on the revival of student unions, the political role of students, and other youth-related areas will be conducted as part of the grand event.

The participating organizations in the meeting nominated names for participation in the panel discussions to be conducted at the conference.

The conference will also be addressed by senior political activists and intellectuals of Pakistan.

Chairperson Sindhu Wass Foundation Anita Pinjani while talking to Ibex Times said the conference is aimed to bring youth from diverse backgrounds to one platform from where they would raise their voice for their fundamental social and legal rights. This would unify youth and mobilize them in playing an active social and political role in the real development of society.
