Gilgit (Akbar Shah): In a statement issued to the media on Saturday, Interior Minister G-B Shams ul Haq Lone has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the security forces in North Waziristan and paid tribute to the sacrifices of Lieutenant Colonel Syed Kashif Ali and Captain Ahmed Badr and other martyrs.
Shams Lone has expressed his sympathy and condolences to the bereaved families while praying for the martyrs.
In his statement, he has further said the entire nation stands with its brave security forces to root out the menace of terrorism. The Pakistan Army has always bravely fought against the cowardly acts of terrorists as its jawans have never hesitated to sacrifice their lives to ensure the security and stability of the motherland.
The cowardly attacks of terrorists cannot demoralize our brave nation and we will never allow the nefarious goals of the enemies of the country to be fulfilled, further said the statement.
