Gilgit (PR): In a meeting with SSP Gilgit, officials of Markazi Anjuman Imamia Gilgit, the deputy commissioner Gilgit said a full-proof security arrangements are in place to ensure peace and tranquility during Muharram ul Haram.
The administration has taken special security arrangements to make ensure the security of sensitive areas and Imam Bargahs in Gilgit city and other places of the district.
He said the administration is also doing strict monitoring on social media. Strick legal action will be taken against any person misusing social media or taking the law into their hands.
He further said the lady police officers will also be deployed to cooperate with the women participating in the processions and majalis.
Nobody will be allowed to install Sabil without NOC from the administration and implementation of all SOPs made concerning sabil management will be ensured.
