Gilgit (Staff reporter): Taskeen Sehatmand Pakistan in collaboration with Aga Khan Health Services Pakistan (AKHS,P) has launched a free mental health helpline for Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral.
Aga Khan University Brain and Mind Institute is also partnering in the project with both Taskeen Sehatmand Pakistan and AKHS,P.
As per details recieved by Ibex Times, the service is currently vailable in the Shina language and soon it will be started in Khowar, Balti and Brushaski languages als
The helpline is free and meant to provide telephonic mental health support to people while keeping any information recieved from the called confidential.
According to Taskeen Sehatmand and AKHSP, those having mental stress or anxiety can call or WhatsApp free on 0316-8275336.
