Islamabad (PR): While talking to media in Islamabad on Thursday, the Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Azad Jammu and Kashmir Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Khan urged the people of Gilgit-Baltistan to demonstrate sectarian harmony.
He said it is the agenda of the enemies to create sectarian tensions in Gilgit-Baltistan. Our enemies fear our unity and are actively conspiring to spread fear among us which can only be foiled by showing unity among ourselves. Jamaat-e-Islami will continue its efforts against sectarianism like it has been doing before, said Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Khan.
He said progress and prosperity can only be achieved through unity for which G-B people should act together above sectarian divisions.
He also emphasized that we need to focus on our commonalities rather than our differences. As long as the nation remains divided along sectarian lines, the challenges in Gilgit-Baltistan will persist without resolution, said Amir JI J&K.
